What we use

We process your email address, the photo you upload, your selected celebrities and style, payment status, credit balance, and the resulting image. An essential, signed cookie keeps you signed in. We do not store a password or your full payment-card details.

How generation works

Your uploaded photo and your selected cast are sent to LaoZhang’s image service to create a fictional portrait. This is a third-party service; its own processing, retention, and downstream providers are governed by its privacy policy. We cannot delete a provider’s independent logs or promise that it never retains images.

Storage and deletion

We remove image metadata, including location metadata, before sending the photo. Our stored upload copy is removed after processing ends. Results become inaccessible 24 hours after submission. Expired files are removed during normal requests or scheduled daily cleanup, normally within 48 hours of submission. If storage or the service is unavailable, cleanup resumes when it recovers.

Use “Delete portrait” on a result page to revoke access and request immediate removal of our image copy. Canceling removes the stored reference photo and prevents a result from becoming available; it may not stop processing already underway at the provider. Temporary storage caches may take up to a minute to clear. Deleted images cannot be restored here.

Payments and email

Waffo Pancake processes checkout as merchant of record and sends us signed order events so we can add credits. Waffo receives the email prefilled at checkout and the billing information you enter there. Our email provider receives your email address solely to deliver a sign-in code.

Who can see a result

Results require your signed-in account. There is no public gallery or public image link. Anyone who can use your signed-in browser may access its results. Downloading or sharing puts a copy under your control and the rules of any app you use to share it.

Limited operational records

We retain account, payment-event, credit and job records needed to prevent duplicate free trials, maintain balances, resolve payments and prevent abuse. Deleting an image does not erase these records or restore a successfully used credit. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics.

Your choices

Only use a photo of yourself that you have permission to upload. You must be 18 or older. You can use the fictional sample instead of your own image. Contact the support address shown at checkout for account or payment requests.
